Job Summary:

This firm is seeking a dedicated and motivated Insolvency Administrator/Senior Administrator to join their expanding team in Southampton. This role primarily involves corporate case work, providing valuable support to the insolvency practitioners. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of insolvency assignments and ensuring their smooth progression from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of corporate insolvency cases, including administrations, liquidations, and voluntary arrangements.
  • Undertake initial case investigations, collect relevant information, and prepare reports for senior team members.
  • Conduct financial analysis, review statements, and assess the viability of business operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including creditors, solicitors, and other professionals involved in the insolvency process.
  • Prepare statutory documents, including reports to creditors and progress reports.
  • Support the delivery of excellent client service, maintaining regular communication and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within corporate insolvency is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of insolvency legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using insolvency case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A professional qualification in insolvency (e.g., CPI, JIEB) or willingness to study towards obtaining one.
